Pachamanca is not a Curanto with another name…. Pachamanca originated in Peru and is a much more elaborated and delicious food with a diversity of spices and ingredients. There is a HUGE difference between Pachamanca and Curanto… Pachamanca is totally cooked practically in all Peru and in different versions.
