Thanks for this. So much food writing is about the superb discoveries, but it’s more fun reading about the duds.
Irina, your site Food Gone Wrong is brilliant and hilarious, and I have no doubt that it’ll soon be very popular. Thank you for your kind words.
I hadn’t seen this very kind comment! Thank you, I’m just about to update the site with some gems from Paris.
Super enjoyable to read. What a hoot!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
This made me laugh out loud. No matter what you’re writing about, shoes, pop culture or food I want to read it.
Sounds like what we call “menudo” in Texas – tripe, hominy, good strong broth, other stuff – a favorite of after too many drinks the night before.
Romanian cuisine also features tripe soup as a hangover meal — this seems to be international wisdom.
Such a good read! You should definitely try the Romanian tripe soup or any Eastern European same kind of dish, but not in a restaurant maybe. Love your blog.
Thank you for your kind words! Not too many Romanian restaurants (or even Eastern European ones) in Nashville, but next time I’m in Chicago or New York, I’ll look one up.
